We create elegant canapés, indulgent desserts and afternoon teas, each one made with care, creativity and a touch of sophistication.

I’m a proud mother to a lively two year old, and the founder of an event planning business built on creating memorable, meaningful experiences. My passion has always been bringing people together, and naturally, food became a big part of that vision.
While I don’t come from a traditional catering background, cooking has always been something that excites me. I love the creativity it allows and the way it brings people closer turning moments into lasting memories.
The idea for our business came about during a conversation with my sister-in-law. As I shared my vision of introducing savoury canapés into my events, she spoke about her own dream of starting a sweet canapé business. It felt like the perfect match so we decided to join forces.
Together, we’ve built a business that combines the best of both worlds: beautifully crafted savoury and sweet canapés, made with care, creativity, and a genuine love for what we do.
At the heart of everything is a simple goal to create unforgettable experiences through food, for every occasion.
I am a wife and mother of two energetic and beautiful children, and although I currently work as a data analyst in the healthcare sector but I have many years of experience in the catering and hospitality industry.
The idea for this business began in 2020, when my husband and I were searching for caterers for our wedding. We wanted a canapés menu that reflected both of our cultures, a blend of British favourites and authentic African flavours but found it incredibly difficult to source a service that offered both, especially Central African options.
Around the same time, my sister-in-law shared her own frustrations about facing similar challenges when planning events. She mentioned that she had also dreamt of starting a canapés service that bridged this gap. Realising we shared the same vision, we decided to join forces and create a business together and that’s how Jam Festivities was born.
Although COVID 19 meant my wedding didn’t happen as originally planned, the experience stayed with me. I knew that with my background in hospitality and catering, combined with our shared passion for culturally representative food, we could create something meaningful for people who might be experiencing the same struggles we once did.
